The Story Behind Honey for the Heart A Song for Advent in Four Parts

"Advent", meaning Arrival,is a special time to enjoy the building anticipation of Christmas as a church family and personal family unit. Though neither one of us Lockwoods grew up celebrating Advent very much in our own homes, we served at a wonderful church that celebrated the entire month of Advent with worship and devotions. During this time, we created a resource/guide book "Advent: Worship at the Table" for our church to use, including our own scripture song of Isaiah 9:2-7 in the guide. It has reached beyond the walls of that church into the homes of many families, helping guide them and their children in worship through the four weeks of Advent.
